Some Earlier (1999) Thoughts on the Self.

The Self—as a Concept:

This sense of self evolves over time through substance sensitivity unfoldment or sensitization of the inner and outer senses producing expanding contacts and impacts on the not-self or sheaths or vehicles. These contacts and impacts increase owns potential for greater awareness leading to an expanded ability to determine cause and effect within one’s environment–subjective and objective. The sense of self is potentially changing through experiences that appear to just come and go as we are active in living our lives through the circumstances and decisions we make.  The self’s capacity to reason or cognize is according to the type and degree of active intelligence love it has developed experientially during this process. Its working knowledge of the patterns of life or livingness is as practical as their degree of active intelligent love developed to date. The Self’s innate and expressed abilities are correlated with its degree of karmic path potential developed over time, utilized through opportunities perceived and acted upon in some way.  Its willingness to succeed in developing itself (or forms of self) as increased potential for self-expression is limited by its involvement in the prevalent group’s civilization and cultural processes inherent within the historical moment of possibilities.  Its relationships are formed by causative links formed by way of past relationship laden actions or opportunities taken.  It is thus related to others through group processes inherent within the body of time, of space, and historical ideas “whose time has come” or not.

It organizes its environment according to ideological tenants and causes it can identify with based upon its present four form (devotion, persona, environment, life path) directional developments.  It organizes its life according to developed dweller (sun-moon) instincts innate and determining—causally intact from the learning embodied in methodology in the past.  It is externally organized according to group and individual related dweller karmic forms (and matter) and thus chance, relative to their mission in life through conditioned events and circumstances willing by default to forgo all possible outcomes for the method laden instinctual choices it has made now.  The self is at first unwilling to change regardless of the contingent forces impinging upon its happiness. Its internal and external conflicts are due normally to it being in denial of one’s own part in the circumstance but over time the inner and outer forces impinging upon the self eventually evoke acquiesces once sufficient active intelligent love is garnered.  It is also organized beyond our normal understandingly internally according to beliefs it has held or is holding according to its inherent ray, ethnic, cultural, national, ideological, and historical or dweller backgrounds.

Believing is not a factor of consciousness but of identification with a conditioning set of forms and this implies the concept of self or the forms of self are organized according to factors inherent within the belief pattern or personality self system and sensitized to outcome likelihoods not relevant to other possible beliefs (act as if). Ordinarily, the nature of character is a contributing factor in belief systems and implies a resistance to reality as it is. It is upon this assumption of reality or belief pattern we venture forth to ultimately discover a contrary  reality through trying to act as if leaving behind all other possible beliefs to discover for ourselves the content of this life we have innately chosen through the identification of the self with it.

According to superstition or fact, depending on one’s point in evolution, all men are created alike or equal, and this is the case in terms of their god nature, but in reality, all are quite different outside of their original occult constitution as a human unit with its three periodic vehicles – monad, soul, body. We are sort of equal in that we respect power, will and accomplishment and give our whole life to achieving it in some form or another and gauging our success in the degree of happiness, joy or bliss achieved.  It would be good to see this as an exercise in futility as all power is given by the group to those karmically worthy of it with the context of group goals. Exercising of the “will” is important in consideration of creating our own reality and it is this use of the “will” that optimizes the sense of sense over time.  There are various forms of the “will” and establishing the correct form will permit adventures into the realm of the soul to establish a relationship there with the group work being undertaken now on this planet.  It will be an exercise of the group will at that point where subjective contact is made and it is in this magical process that we will be recreated according to our own human soul’s understanding of the group will or planned intent; and to this type of will we give a name of “sacrificial will”.

Sacrificial will is required to discover the higher spiritual will leading us to the Unknown and ultimately, it’s discovery will be the cause of the self’s freeing it of lower creative hierarchical substance/form identification. It prevents us from moving backward in life and frees us from circumstances once created to venture forth into the unknown to again to find ourselves working together as a group to satisfy our intended purpose.  It would be good to look at this as an ongoing achievement of a more correct goodwill and establishes a base for operating in the world of form creation that  creates a pathway into the heavens where there is a recognition of god’s work being done.  It also would be good to look to this as an angle of joint responsibility for creating the livingness of the planet and organizing our time and resources to establish upon this earth a reasonable place to live where we are wanted with our newer values and in judging less we accomplish more.  It would be good to look at this as a measure of self-control over our individual destinies and working individually towards our own salvation as a race of peoples working together to create a utopia of mutual concern organized to succeed in life to accomplish our goals of world domination, ideologically considered, as many find peace beyond any real understanding. It would be good to look at this as a means to escape from the harshness of the world and to create a place of worship each according to his deeds and ownership of human life.  It would be good to look upon this as a means to establish on the earth, once the thought of escaping is left behind, a workable solution to all of humankind’s problems.  Solutions based in the wisdom of the day. This is what the Self is attempting to achieve, a willingness to go forth into the adventure of life carrying all with it upon its inward and outward journey home.

These forms are created from the substance inherent within our mental, emotional, and vital bodies, which make up our personality life ring- pass-not of form activity awareness. They are really four-fold. They have both life and quality and depict some particular form awareness of self. The self is that much of the soul life, quality, and form awareness it can identify with.

What is the human soul? Is it a vessel for some aspect of a higher Self? The human soul is first of all that which is responsible for all sentiency, for quality, for self-consciousness of the personality.  It is also capable of group conscious and universal consciousness.  The saying—there is no such thing as your soul and our soul this is part of the great illusion of the individualized self and the “I”. It is also the principle of coherence for all life forms because life forms are imbued with life, quality, and active sentient awareness whether self-conscious or not.

In part, all souls are part of the One Soul either divine or spiritual.  A human soul is that much of the One Soul that the human unit can identify with in terms of mind or intelligent activity, intelligent love, and sacrificial will. The spiritual Soul is that much of the One Soul the spiritual Soul can identify with in terms of spiritual Will or universal Oneness; spiritual Love or intuitional knowingness; and spiritual Mind or abstract causative awareness. This soul within personality connection is apperceived, cognized, and expressed through us as spiritual instinct (unconscious spiritual pattern recognition), as opposed to human instinct, or animal instinct. It permits us to recognize a flow of the highest good for the greatest number—as one example. It reflects a type of intuitive understanding as to the One Work or One Activity on the planet or a group thereof. It is a way of creating cultures and civilizations through the expanding or unfolding history or sequence of ideas whose time has come. Cultures and civilizations are an accumulation and embattlement of and between concepts which embodies an idea . It is through revelation and realization over time that the world is created and sustained.  What is revelation?

Revelation of Self:

Revelation is one way of expressing the constantly recurring effects of forward or downward pressure of the inner group soul’s vision or reifying part in the Plan.  Throughout the evolutionary process there is nothing but a growing revelation—evolution is the effect of descending revelation as it can be absorbed and cognized. Revelation and evolution go hand in hand to create newness of consciousness due to expansion or greater form substance inclusiveness and sensitivity.  Revelations are new patterns of energy brought into circulation from the formless into existing form lives. The closer to divine Self-realization the more subtle and formless the patterns will be. It becomes harder to find word forms or symbols to reveal these energy patterns – the Self approaching the One Self.

In revelation, for the personality, there is always the mental concept of light and what it reveals. There is the light of Life, the light of the soul, the light of the mind, the reflected light of the personality through the soul light in the mind, and eventually the light in the brain or shadow itself. In that light we see light. The more light we fuse and blend the more intense our searchlight becomes into the inner and outer world.  The vision through the use of the inner Eye is a symbolic way of experiencing revelation. The unfolding of the five senses has brought an emerging revelation of the Self (and life Plan), which is revealed by the common sense of the mind (five pointed star embodied by the Son of Mind). The mystery of alignment of the Eyes symbolizes this Path or Way of Revelation. The eye of mind aligns with Eye of Soul, which aligns with Eye of Spirit which aligns with Eye of God and the true promise land, not a territory but a location in the body of Deity where the symbolic Temple of Being is in process of construction is apperceived—the Glory of the individual and the Glory of the One is sensed as all Mystics have testified. It is your vision, as a synthesis of the senses, that has brought you to where you are at now in your synthetic understanding.

We Listen to the inner Voice; we touch mentally form life; we see the degree of beauty underlying form; we apply the type of soul awareness to create form; we know  the soul behind the form is the way to soul-revelation and self-knowledge through the united appeal of concrete mind, Son of Mind, and abstract mind. And later we will-to-know our part in the plan for the group soul; we will-to-express that aspect of the group newness and cooperate with the Plan; we will-to-reveal that nature of universal inclusiveness or world of significance or the basis of our progressive reality; we will-to-destroy those qualities of human consciousness or ideologies that prevent purpose from manifesting our new selves; and we will-to-resurrect the radiant way back to the source of life. This reflects the way of higher revelation of spirit through the united appeal of the three minds (concrete, Son of Mind, abstract minds). This process is the essence of the creative way Home.

Life for all of us is everywhere full of revelation whether recognized or not. It has been said be said that there is little else.  Thus is because of the planned creative activity on soul levels of the larger whole outside of time has a mandate; we sense this as the future pressing on us, hovering over us, realized at times as keeping up or not keeping up. This set of exercises is about creating a field of small revelations to better perceive our place in this larger whole—to better keep up. Personality reflects that much of the soul that it can identify with.

The Way or Path (pattern), the Will (pattern), and energy (pattern) are equivalent terms in this narrative. Your will is that much of the One Will that you can identify with.  The will is related to the Law of Sacrifice, which means the taking over through identification with the goals of the greater more inclusive group Self. This defines the saying “as a man thinkest in his heart so he is”, such is his way.

We create the path out of ourselves. The will pattern impacts our personality substance and creates the form or pattern we identify with and this creates direction in our lives. When we spoke of revelation, we never addressed what is revealed nor the nature of the revelation. We spoke of the will being a pattern of life energies. We also spoke of the personality being comprised of substance that is slowly being sensitized by quality over time. We speak here of this will playing on the substance (individual, group, or planet).  This we coined as the playground of deity. The nature of these energy patterns contains that something which imbues us with newness, with new potential, with the magic of new beginnings.  If from the soul, it is experienced as the will-to-love along with some particular psycho-spiritual quality we recognize as part of ourselves and relates us to the flow of some larger group knowingness. When revelation is identified with spirit it contains an aspect of that something we might call the will-to-life or a will-to-be along with an insight into the larger cosmic Plan and Purpose of deity and relates us to the solar system and beyond. There is something in this energy that transmutes our substance as the energy moves down and transforms our substance as the energy moves up. Again the words of the Christ – I make all things Anew. For this magic to occur we need to create this alignment of eyes, of wills, of hearts, and of minds. Serve and obey are the two watchwords that create this alignment. Spontaneous service from within opens the heart and following one’s own inner guidance opens the eye of the heart in the mind (head center). Think, what greater service can there be other than being Oneself, keeping the Minds, Hearts, and Wills aligned and circulating the energy of magical newness from the source of revelation. This again determines the nature and speed of evolution.

Each of us must isolate incoming energy and will patterns as symbols and a means for our transition, into the Unknown. Upon these we will need to reflect constantly.  Our effort as an element of the group will be to evolve a vital and active program, formulated by each and self-initiated by each.  The program developed and followed will help reveal our soul-intended life pattern and this will be an expression of a life purpose.  The soul’s intention is implemented by circulation of some qualified energy and a steady revealing of the pattern of things to come. We can attempt to acquire this knowledge and demonstrate this pattern through the use isolated hints, symbols or images that can lead us to some form of revelation and life direction.

Integration of Self:

Every one of us has particular challenges that demonstrates particularly in moments of happiness and stress and how we respond to these gives us a significant clue as to our nature.  It is upon these happiness and stress evaluations we can determine who we are and are not.  This potential changing or adjusting of self-perspective due to contingent events feedback producing undue happiness or unhappiness reactions can be magical. In effect this mirroring can be understood as a central purpose for all relationships which is self- knowledge leading to knowledge of another and the One. If we look upon all excessive happiness and unhappy related events as potential roadways into self-knowledge we can make great progress in self-discovery and expansion of self-consciousness.  This process can be used as one’s basis for a workable integrative protocol that can be used to eliminate these undesired response patterns.  In other words, if we are excited or anxious about contingent event outcomes or potential outcomes, we should assume we are missing something in our reasoning. This provides us with a chance to reflect upon our natures and the mechanisms of these natures producing this excitement or anxiousness. The results of this reflection on cause and effect can lead to increased freedom through dis-identification from these forms causing these undue reasons good and bad.

Our normal way of making behavioral and attitudinal changes basically comes down to self-dialogue in one form or another. It is always better to look upon self-dialogue as an adventure in self discover and the more conscious than the more adventure in self-discovery; and every time we perceive our self in a “new light or new life” we are undergoing a transformation by having this knowingness. This process evokes a new pattern of understanding and there is transferred a new pattern of beingness to those students who had successfully perceived themselves in a “new light”.  Basically, each receives and understands mentally an impression before the full awareness of this “new light and life” is grasped in its understanding by the brain. In other words, an individual subjectively makes this full realization of implications and ramifications before it impacted fully in their brain awareness by the vary act of questioning.  Likewise, one should not overlook the importance of this insight having an immediate impact on others around them also.   This is  due to them having some relationship investment to the event related karmic form in question. It would be wise to see this as a group experience involving all concerned in one’s immediate group subjectively. It would be good to look upon this as an example of reification of consciousness upon group levels by way of conscious impression by those concerned using this technique. It is in this way we change the past, present and future.

A Basic Summary

The most important thing to remember to control your personality is that it is controlled by dis-identification and not the will but the imagination.  What do we mean by dis-identification? Each part of yourself has an established way of being in the world that defines your I-ness in that particular area considered.  Each of these parts make up your greater sense of I-ness and it is these taken together that eventuates in what we term personality I-ness.  This personality I-ness develops slowly over time and eventually develops a life of its own.  This life too needs to be dis-identified from but not before it is developed and integrated.  It is only in this way can we gain freedom from the tyranny of form.

Each of us has our own karma and this thus determines the type and quality of our form elements or in occultism its elemental types and qualities. The purpose of form is quite simple and can be perceived as our ability to function in the three worlds of the cosmic physical plane.  This too has its reasons—the least of which is self-mastery that leads to substance salvation on an individual level. Salvation is an effect enhanced and forwarded by the processes of redemption of consciousness.

The next idea needing to be understood and this too is a simple one if reflected upon is that personality is a product of many efforts by the soul to create a suitable vehicle to express itself. It is the human soul that is learning how to create in concert with the divine soul.  It is this process of creation that permits each life to be an experiment in the choice of forms useful to carry out the purposes of the soul, limited of course by karmic necessities. How is this related to personality control? First of all, personality is only an aspect of ourselves we choose (by necessity) to use to express our purpose through. It is also a vehicle of the soul for the same reason. It is these two together that eventually produce the necessary cooperation that controls the personality for seemingly two different sets of purposes, but this is only part of the illusion of duality only experienced when the self separates its identity from the personality which it does slowly over the course of evolution of consciousness.

For each of us, as human units, there is either a dual or a triplicity (or more) of selves interacting together to produce a range of being-ness.   The goal is eventually just one qualitative Self, but this takes the complete evolutionary cycle to complete.  The closest we get to this is in our peak experiences when we apperceive the whole within us in one way or another.

You have been given the idea that the control of the personality is a slow and difficult process, and this is true but the most important things that can speed this up can be categorized as:

Dis-identification of beliefs, of motivations, of ideals, of emotions, of thoughts, of vital forms – maya, glamour, illusions.

Self-knowledge of desires, of dwellers, of rays, of karmic forms, of past lives, of sub-personalities, and of propensities of character.

First three Laws of the Soul utilized: sacrifice, polar union, and service.

Obedience to the soul. This means correct meditating, correct breathing, correct focusing, controlling your three bodies, and circulating energies. This means quieting the personality voices of the mind, the emotions, and the vital forces. This means aligning the brain, mind, and soul. And this means the re-organizing of your environment to do the above – inner and outer.

Outer:

Organize your day-to-day activities.

Organize your subjective periods.

Organize your life to create balance.

Organize your environment for service.

Inner:

Organize your mental space—what to think about.

Organize your emotional space—what to feel.

Organize your alignment space—sources of impression.

Organize your overall ambiance.

This means re-creating yourself for each initiation in these 22-ways:

Re-creating your physical/etheric body.

Re-creating your mental body.

Re-creating your soul persona.

Re-creating your field of service.

Developing your gifts.

Dis-identifying from dweller.

Knowing your life purpose.

Knowing your past lives.

Knowing your future lives.

Purifying your bodies.

Create a plan.

This creative project needs to reflect the purposes of hierarchy.

Transferring energies into the bridge:

This is a process that takes place once the soul is consciously aligned with the three bodies.

Once this happens then your mind is organized to receive the soul’s knowledge base. Once this happens your astral body is organized to receive your soul’s heart content.

Once this happens your vital body is organized according to your triadal needs and also your ashramic needs.

Once this happens your soul/personality field is organized according to the needs of spirit.

Cooperating with the soul:

The concerns of the soul are always a part of the group life and your ability to integrate with the group determines your ability to see as the soul sees it. It is this ability which will allow you to move forward on the path as this is regulated by the master/Soul.  The group comes first—its highest good is your highest good. The same applies to the Soul of Humanity as it is your integration objective initially.

The soul requires you to achieve its suggestions in the spirit they are given, and this is for your happiness, joy and Bliss – always.

The soul itself realizes that its path back to the source of its inspiration is only a moment away and your understanding of its interests puts you in the driving seat or not whether or not they become your interests or not.

The soul realizes also that the time remaining to complete its long journey is coming to an end and this process increases its focus upon its Self-development needs and Self-recreation; this focus needs to be honored through a mutual focus upon the soul and the personality’s release of the soul for it to function on the lower five planes freely.

Building the Antahkarana – Creating the Bridge:

By the time you accept the need to consciously create this bridge, it is already partially created.  The rest of its creation is a product of aspiration, mental abstraction, and spiritual identification of wills with the Divine Soul which permit the completion of this bridge.

The bridge itself is made out of mental matter of a special kind initially—fire elemental substance.  It is this substance, which is created through organizing your life in six ways:

The first use of this bridge is granted to the aspirant by the group in charge of his/her training.

The bridge itself is an extension of both the life of the combined soul/personality and the larger ray groupings.

It is important to note that each individual aspirant is responsible for creating this bridge. The third initiation can be taken because this permits transformation to earlier take place.

The nature of this bridge is nothing more than the realized spirituality of the disciple—or in other words his belief in his spiritual being.

The bridge is rapidly built once integrated in the group soul—ray group.

The bridge is also built through the process of invocation and evocation.

Using the bridge:

The first conscious use of the bridge brings a realization of first becoming, and then belonging, and then being experienced in that order.

The first uses of the bridge take place through a vibration set up between the brain, concrete mind, the abstract mind, and Son of Mind; it is through this process that the minds are integrated.

After this has taken place integration then includes either the buddhic or atmic mind according to triadal alignment. This takes place first, in terms of time experience, with the soul mind and then with the personality mind.

After this has taken place integration of the other triadal mind begins either buddhic or atmic; for the majority it is very difficult to balance the two equally.

After this has taken place integration begins to take place with Christ Body as a whole and once this is completed—at the fourth initiation, a fuller identification with the monad ensues and this is completed at the fifth initiation taking one off of the lower soul ray.

After this has taken place, a transition is made on to the group Monadic Ray and off of the True Group Soul Ray ( the monad only having three major aspect rays.)

After this the bridge is constructed to the logoic plane and at that point Shamballa becomes a living part of one’s consciousness, although this begins at the atmic level.

After that the bridge is completed to the Buddhas of Activity whereby the Initiate becomes an integrate part of the life of the Lord of the World.  As these represent the three permanent atoms found within the planetary causal body upon its own level.

Enlightenment of Three Minds.

ABSTRACT MIND:

You must realize that each individual soul is upon a different ray line and each ray does it differently.  This takes place by 2^nd initiation. It is not permitted that I list these ray related techniques.

Next the different ray souls exact their individual ray processes over time to complete their integration with the group soul using the ray related methods above alluded to.  This takes place until after the third initiation whereas the divine soul replaces the group soul.

Next, each ray develops the ability to determine cause and effect in their environments through a process that can be called divine favor.  This is a process that imitates the process of personalities lives where they are given a favorable environment to enhance themselves.  On a soul level this is comprised of being in the company of great souls or souls having special characteristics that they can observe.  This process is used when the spirit determines that its purpose can be better served at a certain time period in human history and makes a concerted effort to play its part.  This process is being used with the author’s soul in respect to the guiding disciple and before this mentor each of these mentoring souls are highly gifted in those areas that are needed (particularly brain recognition).

Next, each ray develops the capacity to see into the triadal planes and this permits them to more quickly relate to causative patterns (person M…. as my tutor on a soul level).

Next, each ray develops the ability to train in those areas suggested by the group soul and the divine soul.  It is in these areas that better equip them to approach the purpose for their existence.

Next, each ray establishes a relationship with many other soul groups to enhance their training for specific functions; these groups are likened to the outer planes where Peter’s Principle applies.

SON OF MIND:

Individual ray aspect—includes all three minds and eventually all.

The Son of Mind can be defined as that entity that is inherent, through having control of mental substance, within the life of the human soul, which can theoretically be stated as being ourselves as we identify with the soul. This entity is created over time and has a particular name. It can be seen to be a product of the integration of the soul mind, concrete mind and personality mind as the aspirant is engaged in contemplation. It is this entity we let go of at the fourth initiation as we identify with the divine soul. We take this entity with us when we go and represents a sub-personality to the divine soul.

We would like you to understand this difficult process of self-identification. For the first time at the third initiation, we recognize this aspect of ourselves fully.  It is at this time we see to its limitations and work with it to enhance ourselves and as we enhance ourselves it is enhanced.  We would like you to know that this entity is better off dead by the time the fifth initiation is taken as it then limits our ability to identify with the monad.  It is this process that is the nature of the suffering spoken of related to the crucifixion and afterwards. Because we realize we need to die to its identity, but it is forever a part of us.

The Son of Mind becomes enlightened once we realize that its life and our life do not have to be intertwined and its relationship to the group soul increases.  It is this identification with the group soul karmically considered that permits it to be of greater service to us and the group and in this way serves the needs of both until the karma is released and its live purpose completed. This is the effect of the Law of Destiny which operates outside of the three lower karmic worlds individually considered.

The Son of Mind is the interface between the fourth and the fifth kingdoms and as we journey through the fifth kingdom it is our constant companion if you like.  This aspect of the soul hints at the reason there are two soul rays.

CONCRETE MIND:

This mind is enlightened through the process of integrating it with the soul once The Son of Mind and the Abstract Mind is enlightened.  It is a process of organization reflecting the same organization seen in both of the above two minds. This is a process that takes much time. Mental enlightenment can be seen as having three major levels – manasic, buddhic, and atmic.

The process involved is dependent upon two factors, the first being, the individual soul ray and the second being the mind ray. Together they produce the type of organization; whereas the above two aspects produce the direction in which the organization takes-its service direction.

This process also involves the development of gifts; these gifts are a product of earlier developments and are packaged together to produce the various abilities desired by the divine soul per dharmic necessity and their types expand over time.  It is this process that produces eventually on the physical plane the Master and the Buddha in full control of all of their various dimensional bodies.

This process also involves the delegation of the personality mind; this mind eventually becomes integrated as the brain and concrete mind become unified.  This must take place before any real occult gifts can unfold.

We want you to know that each of you are developing this capacity and your ability to control your mind will take you step by step to this end. We have given you a better idea of this psychological process but more importantly we have given you the hope of understanding the teachings from a third ray perspective as this is the nature of the group soul ray the author is working with at this time.

A personality is a completely integrated human being. In this case, we have a man whose physical, emotional and mental natures can be fused and can subsequently function as one, and thus produce a mechanism which is subordinated to the will of the personality. This can take place with or without a definite soul contact, and it is at this stage that there comes a predisposition to the right, or to the left hand path. The coordination proceeds as follows:

a. Coordination of the emotional or astral nature with the physical body. This took place in the racial sense in Atlantean times; it is going on today among the lower groupings in the human family. It should be the objective of the development of children from the ages of seven to fourteen.

b. Coordination of the physical, astral and mental natures into one blended whole. This is taking place racially in the Aryan race today and the process will be completed (for the bulk of humanity) when the sun enters the zodiacal sign, Sagittarius, just as now it is entering Aquarius. This coordination is going on rapidly among the advanced members of the human family and should be the objective of the training of all adolescents between the ages of fourteen and twenty-one.

c. Next, coordination is commenced between the soul and the personality, with the focus of the soul’s attention upon the astral or desire nature. This is the immediate task of the world aspirants at this time, and will be the goal of the next race succeeding to that of the Aryan.

d. Coordination between soul, mind and brain to the exclusion of the body of illusion, the astral body. This is the peculiar goal of the world disciples.

e. Coordination then has to be established between the soul, the purified personality and the Hierarchy. This is the goal of the initiates in the world at this time, and of all who are in preparation for the first, the second and the third initiations. This consummation is finally achieved at the Transfiguration initiation.

f. Coordination between the soul, the personality and the spirit. This takes place via the Hierarchy of Souls—a phrase which only initiates can properly interpret and understand. This process is carried on after the third initiation.

A man can be regarded as a personality in truth when the form aspect and the soul nature are at-one. When the soul influences the personality and pervades all the lower manifestation, then and only then, does the personality measure up to its true significance, which is to constitute the mask of the soul, that which is the outer appearance of inner spiritual forces. These forces are expressions of the soul, and the soul is the central identity or fundamental focus upon the mental plane of the life of God Himself. Essence, consciousness and appearance are the three aspects of divinity and of man; the personality, when fully developed, is the “appearance of God on earth.” Life, quality, and form is another way of expressing this same triplicity. Each of our lives is made up of a particular series of events that we identify with in some way with our being either consciously or unconsciously:

Each series of events is created out of our desire to be happy.

Each experience of happiness comes through having our perceived need met. This allows us to be successfully mirrored by life, which gives us a particular sense of self that is identified with that particular series of events.

Each series of events that brings us happiness is re-created over and over in an attempt to register this experience of happiness.

It is important for each of us to determine if that experience of happiness, reflected in our intended life creation, will satisfy our being or not as a way we want to experience love. Love can be defined in many ways but if you really think about it love is the purpose for which we create anything in our lives.  Each person’s love is different, and we can get a sense of their type of love and ability to love by what they create in their life as a person or as a soul. Happiness comes from our ability to successfully love as a person and joy comes from our ability to love successfully as a soul.

We want each of you who read this discussion find within yourself that unique sense of love you possess that is reflected by what you essentially do every day to manifest your dreams.

It is through this day-to-day process of creating our life to be happy, that our awareness of the way we love to be is mirrored, or not, by a series of life events. This process of being our self in life gives us a great satisfaction with life. When this is so, we see ourselves as being able to accomplish great things.  This is so because each of us is able to create our lives according to our soul’s life intention (its type & ability to love)—representing our true ability to be our self. The more we can experience  our self being happy in what we do, the more readily we can, and do, approach our soul’s real intent for our life.

The personality can satisfy itself with the thought that I, the creator of my universe, attempt to imitate that Self I have chosen to identify with.

This choice should demonstrate to us the power we have in determining our fate (what we choose to identify and consume mentally, emotionally, or physically) either consciously or unconsciously. The soul qualifies our ability to love as we move into that direction that we think will bring us happiness. What does this mean? It means our soul qualifies our thoughts in such a way as to enhance our direction in life, and thus our fate in such a way, as to carry out it’s real intention for your life.

Our ability to love as a soul. (What does this mean?) Our ability to love as a soul does increase one’s ability to serve one’s environment.  Our ability to love as a soul also increases our ability to connect to spirit and to know the truth of existence.

Each moment we consciously experience our soul’s intent, we get a glimmer of the synthesis needed between the personality’s ability to love and the soul’s ability to love.  It is due to this increased sense of synthesis that we begin to see, taste, touch, hear and smell our essential nature in life events as soul inherent within us and without.

The individual and collective whole or Soul within us is always trying to come out through us as personalities, and the individual and collective whole or Soul outside of us is always trying to come into us as human souls. As our personality and soul abilities to love is synthesized it becomes more and more difficult to determine the distinction between inner and outer, or the individual and collective whole sense of Self as our subjective senses unfold. Never-the-less, we struggle to find love at each point in a series of life events, determined to succeed in the development of a sense of Self that conquers all events because it sees itself as part or one with its’ creation in some form.

It is here that we can find hope in the choosing to be warriors in battle with each event as if was in opposition to a self created ideal.   It is through the battle of events, to reflect our ideals, that the ability to love becomes synthesized.

It is this battle of events, to reflect our ideals, that builds the synthesis of relationship between our selves and our environment. Our personality’s ability to love and our soul’s ability to love are related effectively through this process of blending events, ideals, sense of self, and environment, and this distinguishes our path in life.

The soul’s path appears and can be known by those rare moments of soul revelation that descends when one is at the right place at the right time doing the right thing.  It is impossible to tell the difference in thought or feeling between correct action and almost correct action until the path is walked.  What leads us to believe our life path can be known with any assuredness.  It is this; the soul in meditation deep communicates with its reflection when the personality’s ability to love is aligned with the soul’s ability to love in a certain way that produces a communion in one of the three bodies of the personality according to the life purpose of the person.  It is here, in this moment, that each of us registers our future trying to come in.

The sequentially unfolding of our future in the form of this soul gift signifies our creative karmic path, our form of service, our mode of happiness and joy, and particularly gives us a growing belief in our Self. As this communion increase we move even deeper into our path of happiness and joy. This moves us even closer to spirit in conscious awareness.  No invocation can go forth into the unknown to evoke ones future or next step forward in synthesis, unless we continue to obey wisely our soul’s intention.  We were created to manifest our commitments we made as souls before we entered into body.  These commitments determine our karmic potential in body and also, determine the nature of our gifts. Our path of life is not what it appears to be—just a sequence of events, but the way we create happiness and joy through serving and obeying our Self(s) wherever we find it, and produce an opportunity to love more fully through the unfolding of our spiritual gifts.

We want you to get an idea of how to distinguish one’s gifts from the personality and those gifts from the soul.  Gifts from the soul enhance one’s service to others and lead to joy whereas personality gifts assist one in being successful in the world and lead to happiness.  It is true, that many people find happiness in service to others. It is a happiness that comes from receiving some reward.

We can enhance our reception of spiritual gifts through delivering services related to personality growth and spiritual unfoldment needs for others. It is in this way we achieve connection to our own soul through servicing others real needs from their soul’s point of view.

Each has their unique spiritual gifts and as we play our part in the sharing of our life in this way, one life by one life the happiness and joy of the whole is also created. in the One Service of the One Life, through creating the One Path (of happiness, joy, and bliss) following the One Plan of the One Soul inspired by the One Vision to create the One Home for the One Humanity everywhere.
