Ten Esoteric Cycles/Stages – Part IV (Cycles of Jupiter, The Four Seasons, The Four Dharmic Wheel Directions)

(HZ: Please note that this ten-part series is just a review of Alice A Bailey’s Esoteric Works in respect to this ten cycles and stages review with a few additions plus some experiential heuristic observations and as a rule does not contain reified source impressions received during meditation.)

The Cycles of Jupiter, The Four Seasons & The Four Dharmic Wheel Directions (See also charts relating the four dharmic wheels to the astrological house meanings at the end)

…Jupiter in its lowest aspect gives the fulfilment of desire and satisfied demand, whilst in its highest Jupiter is the outgoing expression of love, which attracts magnetically to itself that which is desired—this time the good of the whole. EA, p. 171

This chapter introduces the importance of the esoteric twelve-year cycles of Jupiter as it returns to its original natal position at birth. This analysis asserts that these influences related to cycles of Jupiter are organized by the overall conditioning influences are inadvertently linked to the four basic evolutionary soul impulses of recreation, regeneration, reorientation, and renunciation.  The assertion is that these four seasonal influences can be applied to any sub-cycle of evolution such as an incarnation or a planetary influence wherever there is form activity. The part progressively reflects the whole. These four seasonal forms qualify the soul impulses and conditions the influences transmitted from those planetary, solar, and cosmic sources that Jupiter has alignment and affinity with as well those influences represented in one’s natal chart which are related by Jupiter as it transits through the twelve signs or basically one sign per year. The various twelve zodiacal signs that Jupiter cycles through, or basically one per year, for the aspirant and disciple can be shown also to progress other esoteric cycles such as the cycle of aspiration and the cycle of initiation.

The fruits of each Jupiter cycle can be understood to be a product of the seven stages of a cycle of integration as aspirants and disciples can be assumed to be “facing themselves” and actively and successfully responding to such cyclical Jupiter related opportunities presented as a soul-personality.  These gained fruits represent the progressed development and integration of the three major periodic vehicles and their respectful sheaths producing an increasing unity and synthesis between them.

To reiterate, regeneration, reorientation, and renunciation of some form consciousness depicts the eventual results of Jupiter’s continuous twelve-year cycles through the twelve zodiacal constellations life after life. These four major form expression stage-cycles qualifying the soul’s impulses through the processes of a cycle of evolution and its sub-cycles under the Law of Periodicity.

The first state of recreation, or the recreating of that which reflects the dweller’s form creation up to this point in bringing certain types of happiness to the personality if on the normal dharmic wheel which is given as moving clockwise in form consciousness identification; and more joy to the soul if on the reversed wheel which is given as moving counter-clockwise in form consciousness identification. These form recreations reflect the preferred type of form identification up to this point in the series of incarnations and its sub-cycles of maturation and integration.  In the context of the overall Cycle of Evolution the form re-creation stage can be understood is being a product of the influences coming through the Mutable cross.

Regeneration is the stage where the soul’s impulse now is to recondition the form to more fully reflect its three-fold aspect consciousness now that the third aspect has been prepared and thus that much of the individuality can be expressed through the three sheaths along the new form activity. Basically, the goal is to express one’s individuality ascribed objectives and goals and thus to develop the necessary forms for service related to their life purpose to better do so. This takes place through the first and second initiations. The response to the exoteric rulers of the fixed cross signs influences began the reification of their chart related influences in the re-creation stage; and now in the regeneration stage, the response to the esoteric rulers – Jupiter, Sun (veiling Neptune), Vulcan and Mars are bringing in their associated constellation energy qualities and patterns producing regeneration and reorientation.

The reorientation stage is the beginning of the realization that the existing form identifications initiated, built, and used have limitations and the unit now seeks more freedom from their qualified form expression potential.  Reorientation is carried out to the point of a stable reversal of direction around the zodiacal is due to the cardinal cross nascent influences playing upon the other two crosses particularly Aries and Libra. Renunciation in all areas of life in the three-worlds is the result of the successful blending of the influences of the three crosses and the resultant responses by the disciple leading to new freedoms from matter and form influences.  Reorientation leading to the stable point of the reversal on the path takes place once the aspirant responds consistently to the Heart of the Sun (the WORD). Basically, stability is only demonstrated after the second initiation. In the re-orientation stage, the esoteric planetary influences are blended more closely with the Mutable cross influences to produce a greatly extended sensitivity and inclusive consciousness once re-orientation stable. During this stage, the hierarchical rulers’ influences are beginning to be consciously noted. During reorientation stage there is the first the unconscious response through the first and up to the second initiation where the response by the soul-personality becomes very conscious and from that point forward the disciple begins to live the dual life of the disciple. Once the dual life is consciously demonstrating in brain awareness, and this is required for the accepted discipleship, he can now enter upon the final twelve tests which takes place only upon the path of initiation. The path of renunciation and liberation is undertaken through each of the twelve signs under the influence of all three crosses although the cardinal cross produces those significant dynamic points of crisis and polarization upon the path of initiation but in those signs of the fixed cross.

The Cycle of Jupiter & The Four Seasons Continued

The four form related development stages of recreation, regeneration, reorientation, and renunciation are correlated to the four seasons – Spring, Summer, Fall, and Winter and thus are expressive of the tenants of the tropical or seasonal house theory of influences particularly in respect to the appearance or third aspect of all three periodic vehicle as well as the third aspect periodic vehicle itself. As earlier noted, these four stages can be used also to defined as sub-cycles of a cycle of evolution whether an evolutionary period embodied within an incarnation, or embodied within a sheath, or any form that is created for some use but the use herein is more associated to the three periodic vehicles and their three-fold expressions per a cycle of evolution and/or an incarnation.

The cycle of integration also applies to all those third aspect sub-vehicle forms the personality co-recreates, whereas the third aspect vehicles themselves which the soul co-recreates. The cycles of aspiration can be seen to apply also to those third aspect vehicles the soul basically co-creates; and the cycle of initiation vehicle related creation applies more to those third aspect vehicles that spirit co-creates.

The cycle of maturation depicts the expanding evolutionary baseline or vehicle focus of the individual second aspect Life wave life to life; and reflects some level of expanding inclusiveness as a beginning point when appropriated. Each of the four-season stages reflects also, all of the four seasons sequentially as a sub-cycle of such. In respect to the focus of the soul or consciousness aspect as opposed to the form aspects, each of the four stages appear in general to be conditioned by the influences of three zodiacal constellations sequentially as referenced on the reverse wheel. Aries, Gemini, and Taurus influences can be seen to condition the recreation stage; Cancer, Leo and Virgo influences can be seen to condition the regeneration stage; Libra, Scorpio, and Sagittarius influences and condition the reorientation stage, and Capricorn, Aquarius, and Pisces condition the renunciation stage. In effect the Life wave cycles through the solar system and the various planetary schemes influencing the lives germinating on these worlds. Under the Law of Periodicity all entities taking a form or beingness cycle through a construction phase composed of the recreation and the regeneration cycles; and a destruction phase composed of the reorientation and renunciation cycles. This process appears to be a fundamental conditioning influence on the Law of Nature governing forms. Thus, the second aspect Life Wave expresses its activity as a sine wave pattern and evolutionarily is experienced as a cyclical-spiral pattern in consciousness. Jupiter, being an expression of the second ray’s desire and will to relate and unify, transmits this Life wave from the solar Logos seasonally securing growth or expansion opportunities. As with the cycle of integration or initiation there is first a construction phase followed by a destructive phase and each are significant in creating growth and development. As the one cycle of the Life wave cycles through the twelve signs its influences reach its peak, or high point in the construction cycle in the first half of the sine wave at a point between Gemini, the end of the re-creation stage; and Cancer, the beginning of the regeneration stage.  The balance point between the construction phase and the destructive phase is reached at the point between Virgo, the end of the regeneration stage; and Libra, the beginning of the re-orientation stage, where the three periodic vehicles are actively cooperating with each other and do not take a dominate position.

The three constellations energies and forces that condition each of the four impulse directions of the soul within a major evolutionary cycle can be understood to be a function of the blending energy and force distribution under the science of triangles.   The science of triangles or triangle of influences determines the process where the distribution of qualitied energies and forces is regulated.   A summation of the operational principles of the science of triangles is discussed below. This science is the causative basis or heart of all change potential. The science of triangles explains the causative interactions between most if not all entities or life units or atoms as each is compose of the three major aspects on some level of beingness. Another meaning is that all units or entities are embedded in and qualify substance activity and consciousness.  At the midway point of the seasonal Life Wave, located between Virgo and Libra is the balancing point and moving forward the Life wave orientates the unit away from form identification in one or more of its various three-fold aspects embodied within.  The destruction phase severity is contingent upon the amount of learning or causation awareness assimilation the life unit has gained from this cycle of integration process in general plus gains of earlier cycles. The height of the destructive cycle or transformation is through the influences of the Earth, Saturn and Pluto beginning at the end of the reorientation stage, conditioned by Sagittarius influences. The type of renunciation experienced at the beginning of Capricorn influences is due to the one-pointed directed focus influences of Sagittarius. The renunciation stage is technically complete at the end of the Pisces influence point.

The tropical or seasonal house chart, in general, appears to reflect more the influences related to the third aspect or the Appearance aspect under the Great Illusion depicted by one’s identification with the lower three planes and conditioned by the Mutable cross. The sidereal chart reflects the influences of the Quality aspect and are conditioned by the influences of the Mutable and the Fixed cross. They are developing the awareness of the next two higher planes. The chart of the crosses and the nine-fold diamond chart reflects those influences of those under the influences of the Life aspect and are conditioned by the influences of all three crosses.  These units are beginning to discover the livingness of the highest two planes.

Interestingly, one can surmise that the cardinal cross related constellations represent the willful intents o the first aspect each of the four seasonal stages.  This is likewise the case for the fixed cross constellations representing the quality producing second aspect in these four seasonal stages where the mutable cross constellations represent the activity of the form or the third aspect. What begins recreation in Aries finds love and desire in Taurus and co-creation in Gemini in respect to recreation. What begins regeneration in Cancer finds self-direction and mastery in Leo and co-generation in Virgo in respect to regeneration. What begins reorientation in Libra finds self-sacrifice and redemption in Scorpio; and co-orientation in Sagittarius and what begins renunciation in Capricorn finds group direction and service in Aquarius; and co-enunciation in Pisces.

The Four-fold Wheel & the Four Evolutionary Stages

Within a Cycle of Evolution, as herein discussed, is composed of four major soul impulse stages. These significant stages or motivational directions of soul impulses inherent within an esoteric cycle are related to the unfoldment and inter-relationship of the three major periodic vehicles taking place upon this path of evolution or progress of the soul around the wheel. These traditionally are called seasonal stages indicating a cycle of creation from birth to death of some form existence to express through. Aries is the sign of beginnings of the creative process and Pisces the end. Each of the four stages were shown to be conditioned in general by three constellations related to the three crosses more than the others.  Each arm of the cross also symbolizes one seasonal state more than the others depending on the direction of movement upon the wheel of spirit and soul identifying with form activity or dis-identifying with form activity.

In respect to the direction of the soul on the reverse wheel the chart below indicates the major conditioning influences of the zodiacal constellations and the three crosses correlated to the four stages. This is only a generic set of major conditioning influences on the unit regardless of the sun or rising signs. Please keep in mind that all twelve zodiacal influences and the three crosses are related to each of the four stages as underlying conditioning influences.  The chart below only captures the three constellations and related cross influences that conditions the nature of the four various stages more than the other constellations. The first two stages represent the movement into form-matter identification and development by spirit and the last two stages represents the movement away from form-matter identification and development in general focused on consciousness and livingness types.

The cycle of evolution or form related creation stages in respect to the conditioning influences of the three crosses on the four stages linked to the respectful cross’s four constellations:

In this section the goal is to relate the influences of each of the twelve zodiacal constellations to the four seasonal stages as conditioned by the influences qualified by one of the twelve signs but related to all three of the crosses. These influences are activated only as the evolutionary unit can respond to them over time as they unfold their threefold major form sensitivities and consciousness awareness’s to such qualified contacts and impacts coming through a particular sign. The evolutionary units thus invoke these influences and as such determine their place in one of the four stages. The influences of the three crosses will be inferred to blended over time by the unit permitting the unit to move from stage to stage through form identification and dis-identification milestones. This process is analogous to the three-fold suns determining and evolving the potential influences of the three crosses as the solar evolutionary unit progresses in developing His form and Consciousness sensitivity’s and awareness’s to various influences linked to the twelve constellations. The four stages reflect the progressive response of a human evolutionary unit to these influences coming from the constellations focussed through the three-fold solar Suns that the three-fold Planetary Logos can likewise respond to in any particular historical period.

It is significant in the determining of one’s own ray type make-up, as well as the ray related influences or vehicles for each constellation potentially influencing our evolution; to point out that the seven rays influences, associated with and conditioned by the three constellations each as given in Esoteric Astrology, are strengthen if placed in ruling positions in our natal charts. In other words when one’s Sun or rising sign cycles into Aries then the influences of Rays one and seven strength our wills in the use of these rays to carry out our individual and group purposes for that incarnation. These rays can be easily confused with our own ray profile as their influences are more pervasive. How we use them will be related to which of the four sub-stages we are in under the cycle of evolution.

Path of Personality Development and Integration.

Responding to mutable cross exoteric planetary ruler influences which are blending with each other, the Sun sign and the house influences.

The second ray influences through the Sun and Jupiter are pervasive, prevalent, and conditioning in all of the stages and likewise condition the other six rays. The unit is also responding to the influences of Rays four and six through Mars and Mercury which are blending particularly the given influences from Aries, Gemini, Cancer, Virgo leading to Scorpio.

The goal of the normal wheel is the evolution of the instincts through the stages of intellect to the initial intuition stage through the processes of transmutation and produce the aspirant. The aspirant moves off the form consciousness re-creation stage in preparing for the first initiation onto the form consciousness regenerative stage and more under the influences and incentives of the fixed cross. This takes place normally around the age of 21-28 in the present western humanity.

Normal and Reversed Wheel Oscillation:

Regeneration Stage.

Path of Aspiration.

Responding to Mutable cross exoteric and esoteric planetary ruler influences plus Fixed cross exoteric planetary influences which are also blending with each other plus Sun and rising sign.

The unit is also beginning to respond to the exoteric and esoteric influences of all of the Rays beginning the process of also blending the influences of rays two, four, six and one, three, five and seven.

The initial intuition symbolizes that the subjective activity of the soul is more prevalent within the form thus the influences from the fixed cross are likewise being responded to. Once the unit is becoming aware of their duality than the fixed cross influences are considered to proffer more incentive and be more conditioning and they move onto the reverse wheel. The aspirant moves off the regenerative stage in the preparation of the second initiation and more onto the reorientation stage and the reversed wheel as he identifies with the soul. This transition point onto the reversed wheel takes place normally around the age of 35 to 42 in the present western humanity if present culture, civilization, and spiritual opportunities taken advantage of.

Reversed Wheel:

Path of Discipleship.

Mutable and Fixed cross exoteric, esoteric, and hierarchical planetary ruler influences which are blending with each other and Sun, rising sign influences.

The unit is also responding to the influences of Rays three and five influences through Venus and Saturn blending the esoteric influences particularly of Gemini, Sagittarius, and Capricorn. Thus, Scorpio, Gemini, and Sagittarius lead to Capricorn where the path of initiation can be entered.

It is on the fixed cross that the unit demonstrates the lessons and their effects learned while on the Mutable. It is only after the second initiation the unit begins to communicate more fully with the soul and begin to free the soul to unfold. This process leads to the growing fusion between the soul and the personality. It is this freeing and fusing process that orientates the unit to the life of spirit and a response to the influences from and incentives of the Cardinal cross.  The probationary disciple becomes the accepted disciple normally after the second initiation and prepares for the third initiation as a probationary initiate and afterwards moves from the reorientation stage more towards the renunciation state and the path of initiation through training provided consciously from within the ashram. This transition point onto the “Wheel turning upon itself” takes place in present humanity normally between ages 42-49 if opportunities taken advantage of.

Wheel in Multiple Simultaneous Directions or “Wheel turning upon itself.”:

Renunciation Stage.

Path of Initiation.

Responding simultaneously to all three Crosses, Mutable, Fixed, Cardinal cross exoteric, esoteric, and hierarchical planetary ruler influences which are blending with each other and influences from all twelve arms of the cross and cosmic path related influences.

The unit is also responding to the influences of Rays one and seven esoteric influences through Vulcan, Uranus and Pluto blending the “released powers of Taurus, Libra and Pisces” with earlier ray influences.

It is only after the third initiation that the incentives of spirit, on the Cardinal cross, which is now more active within the form, supersede those of the soul after the third initiation. This permits one to transfer to the cardinal cross and stabilize upon the path of initiation. Here the initiate demonstrates the lessons and their effects learned while on the fixed cross while unfolding the new spirit incentives or attributes of divinity to Glorify the One.

There is a relationship discussed earlier between the four seasons and the four basic types of symbolic directional movement through the zodiacal signs indicating a type of expressed livingness by spirit-soul-personality units. The tabulation below breaks out this relationship between the seasons and the wheel direction types. It further indicates the surmised three major aspect related sheaths that one might consider in analyzing a natal chart of those that are either more personality identified, human soul identified, spiritual soul identified, or monad/One Life identified.

It would seem reasonable that these renunciation stage related triadal influences would be blending also with the solar Atmic, Monadic, and Logoic plane sheaths of the three-fold trinity beginning after the third initiation and continuing through the seventh as per Rule XII for Group Initiation.

For Applicants:  Four things the disciple must learn and comprehend before he can be shown the inmost mystery:  first, the laws of that which radiates; the five meanings of magnetization make the second; the third is transmutation or the secret lost of alchemy; and lastly, the first letter of the Word which has been imparted, or the hidden name egoic.

Experientially, the sun and rising sign opposites appear to precede other sign and sign opposite blending’s. Sun sign qualitative sensitivities/awareness’s expand with its sign opposite’s sensitivities/awareness’s and appears to be initiated by the driving force of the evoked rising sign influences by blending with it and its sign opposite.  This continued sun/rising signs and their opposite’s blending evoke other inner sign related constellation influences of the three crosses and expand sensitivities/awareness’s coming through the three suns.

The Initiate responds to all twelve constellations or arms of the three crosses and polarizing these into a six-fold set of influences towards service. These are eventually resolved back into the One synthesized Whole by way of the science of triangles.

Given that the focus of the twelve tests is the demonstration of capacities and the abilities needed to walk the path of initiation so to develop required presented and divine attributes (with the intent to fulfill the Plan) then the focus of the testing of soul control of the personality sheaths, from the point of view of a probationary initiate, would be related to the three decanates on the reversed wheel especially the central decanate linked to the second major aspect sheath. From the point of view of the development of the higher sheaths by the probationary initiate it would also related to the three decanates on the reverse wheel developing the manasic, the buddhic and atmic. It is suggested that the Sun sign decanate placement indicates personality sheath development or testing depending on wheel direction, whereas the ascendant decanate placement would indicate soul or triadal sheath development or testing. There is a difference between the development of a sheath and the testing of a sheath control by the soul accomplished through successful demonstration of a set of characteristics or attribute expressions.

It would seem that the personality livingness on the normal wheel would have to progress also to keep up with the soul’s progression on the reverse wheel.  Thus, each test would involve both the soul and the personality thus each of the three decanates on both wheel directions; on the normal wheel – physical, astral, and mental; and on the reverse wheel the manasic, buddhic, and atmic.  The first and second initiations begins the development of the manasic and the buddhic sheaths through the purification and building on of higher subplane matter of the physical and astral sheaths corresponding to the personality focus. The same would apply to the mental and manasic at the third initiation. Thus, it is logical that the focus of the test would be the ability of the soul to control now all three vehicles. An aspirant would control the physical, a probationary disciple both the physical and the astral, and an initiate all three. The question is whether or not the tests involve all six of the decanate rulers or the focus is just the third one on the reverse wheel where the third controls the lower two? One might also correctly infer that for the first initiation the physical decanate would need to be tested for dominance by the soul of all twelve signs; and for the second initiation the second decanate would be controlled by the soul of all twelve signs leaving the third decanate on the normal wheel to be controlled by the soul and including the other two. Thus, the twelve tests really test for soul dominance of all three decanates on the normal wheel. Personality ascends on the normal wheel (physical, astral, and mental) and the soul descends on the reverse wheel (mental, astral, and physical). Obviously, the physical plane control is the hardest objective of the soul to meet.

Upon the reversed wheel, through the medium of the planetary rulers (orthodox and esoteric unitedly active), the man upon the path finds himself responsive to a very wide number of energies, coming to him from many angles and directions, and hence the difficulties of the man upon the Path of Discipleship. When he becomes an initiate, this range of vibrations is rapidly increased and he becomes receptive to those energies which we have tabulated under the term hierarchical and which have reference to the twelve Creative Hierarchies. The forces of these Hierarchies (neither planetary nor systemic), then sweep into and through the initiate and awaken those major group responses which eventually give him systemic consciousness and make him a world server in Aquarius and a world saviour in Pisces. Four Seasonal Stages, Four Wheel Directions & Four Planetary Dignities

Stages of planetary influences can be delineated by their dignities reflecting some evolutionary seasonal stage and dharmic wheel direction thus basically demonstrating either an exoteric, esoteric, or hierarchical livingness. Each of these types of influences or can be correlated to the influences coming through the three crosses. Thus, it can be quite difficult to sort out and clearly delineate these stages and significance’s in one’s life experientially.

The planets which are exalted, in detriment, or which fall in any particular sign, for a study of these will indicate the three phases of the Path—with its involutionary cycle of becoming increasingly involved in matter, or life upon the Mutable Cross, the interlude of readjustment or struggle for liberation which leads to the mounting of the Fixed Cross, and the period of liberation with the final mounting of the Cardinal Cross.

Retrograde Spirit aspect working through planets influences (Cycle of Evolution of Spirit unfolding of Form for Self-Expression). The highest aspects first fall into matter and are progressively raised up out of matter and eventually exalted while the lowest aspects progressively fall. The natal chart planetary dignities are based upon the final exaltation of the higher aspects of an evolving human unit and the fall of the lower aspects of an evolving human symbolized by the various planets in particular signs.  The four dignity categories indirectly depict the goals of each of the four seasonal stages which are conditioned by the three crosses and their progressive inter-relation and blending. All together depict the progressive influence of the cosmic Christ in the planetary and the individual Christ principles.

Mutable Cross > Normal Wheel > Physical Sun influence is exalted as the central spiritual Sun falls in the recreation stage: Higher aspects of the human unit as an integrating personality now rules the form activity.

Mutable Cross + Fixed>Wheel Direction Oscillates > Physical Sun influence rules as the central spiritual Sun is lessen in the regeneration stage: Higher aspects of the human unit as a reflection of the integrating human soul-personality now rules the form activity.

Fixed Cross + Cardinal >Reverse Wheel > Physical Sun influence is lessen as the central spiritual Sun rules in the reorientation stage: Higher aspect of the human unit as the integrating spiritual and human soul-personality expressing spirit now rules the form activity.

Cardinal Cross > Multi-directional Wheel> Physical Sun influence falls as the central spiritual Sun is exalted in the renunciation stage: Higher aspects of the human unit (monad) as the integrating monad-soul-personality expressing the One Self now rules. The life of God which in this sign is “swung into activity” eventually achieves consummation.

Useful to note in the above example that all four Sun related dignities – Aries (exalted), Aquarius (Detriment), Leo (Rules), and Libra (Falls) all have Uranus as an inferred intermediate transmitter of these influences.  Uranus is the hidden influence transmitting the true divine nature of the One Self through the twelve creative Hierarchies.  Interestingly, it was these same four zodiacal constellations that are given that rule the impulse of Spirit to incarnate through the logoic permanent atoms. Aries governs the life impulse and the permanent atoms are governed as follows: mental (Libra), astral (Leo), and Physical (Aquarius). Spirit finely triumphs on the cosmic physical plane.

The zodiacal influences or cross related influences transmitted by way of the planets through the three-fold sun depicts the influences on the personality self, the higher Self, and the divine Self. The planets form aspect related forces in exaltation, in rulership, in detriment or lessened, and fallen are significant in understanding the developed capacity to overcome a planetary influence holding down the soul and spirit Self-consciousness. The significant point is that the process of unfoldment of a planet’s esoteric or zodiacal influences are directly related to its dignities either assisting or preventing a soul response to zodiacal influences the human unit can respond to correctly and demonstrate.

Cycles of Jupiter & the Science of Triangles Introduction

Science of Triangles

The Science of Triangles is a new introduced science of causation provided to us in Esoteric Astrology summarizing the inner-operation and characteristics of the energies and forces circulated within triangles that underlie the basis of all evolutionary causation and potential.  It is based upon the reality that all forms of beingness are composed of three periodic vehicles where the first expresses through the second and the second through the third. Esoteric Astrology can be understood as the science that provides the outer symbolic  explanation of these various dimensionality of this three-fold beingness and their inter, and inter-related triangulations or three-fold periodic expressions; and these relationships together is responsible for the laws, principles and rules underlying the science of causation for all events and phenomena subjectively and objective.  The objective is to relate, the Science of Triangles to the various cycle under consideration particularly maturation, integration, and Jupiter particularly, to better explain and justify their inner mechanism of operations. This is a new science, and given it covers all levels of causation it is thus quite complex, and abstract given the multi-dimensional nature of beingness’s. All energies and forces circulate within the etheric structure of the cosmic physical sub-plane and therefore the circulation is between and through centres as reified aspects of the various beingness’s of the One Life operating on all dimensions.  The Science of Triangles will make more sense if you preserve and use grounded examples to try to explain and predict effects from causes. The Esoteric Astrology quote below is followed by a cycle of Jupiter example explaining the inner workings of its cycles under the Science of Triangles. The Science of Triangles appears to be responsible for the underlying causation basis for the effective nature of all esoteric cycles of influence. The other cycles will be explained under the Science of Triangles as they are discussed further.

In the study of this Science of Triangles, the student must bear in mind that there is always one point of the triangle which—in a particular crisis or “event in consciousness”—is the emanating, dynamic, conditioning energy. During the cycle (great or small, major or minor) in which it thus controls, the other two points express receptivity and are regarded esoterically as embodying forces. Every triangle is, therefore, the expression of one fundamental energy and of two secondary forces. This is a basic statement of importance and the formulation of a law under which all the triplicities of energy function in time and space. You have consequently:

1. An emanating energy centre.

Dynamic expression of cyclic purpose.

Positive qualified out-going ray energy.

Planetary, systemic, zodiacal and cosmic energy.

The basis of hylozoistic (living) expression.

2. A receptive force centre.

An evocative expression of the initial impelling energy.

A synthesis of two forces, the emanating and the receptive.

A qualified, conditioning secondary energy.

Motivating, blended energy, neither positive nor negative.

3. A responsive point of negative energy.

A major centre, completing the grounding of the emanating energy.

Responsive mainly to the second point of the triangle.

Source of a violent interplay between the two points of the base line.

This distributing center can be a solar system, regarded as a cosmic center, a planet, which is a systemic center, one of the planetary centres, above referred to, a nation or an individual or one of the centers in the human etheric body.

A close study of these energy streams will demonstrate two major movements:

1. A downflow of energy from an emanating center. This leads to
2. Its merging with the energy of a center of reception and its consequent qualification.
3. Its transmission to and its evocative effect upon a second point or focal point of reception.

Note: This leaves one side of the triangle as yet uncompleted.

3. The three types of energy (or rather one energy and two forces) proceed then with the following activities:
4. Evocative energizing of a secondary triangle.
5. Pouring down one side of this reflected triangle into the evoked expression on the physical plane.
6. Producing manifestation, quality and activity.
7. Forming a reservoir of descending and balancing energies.

Some light on this most abstruse subject can be gained if the student will attempt to realize that the above diagram and subsequent statement describes his own involutionary and evolutionary history. It depicts the interplay of his monadic life, soul energy and personality force, as these three focus on the physical plane, producing manifestation and appearance.

1. A return flow of this qualified energy to its emanating source or the highest point of the major triangle. This produces:
2. The completion of the two triangles—the Real and the unreal. The building of the antahkarana is an aspect of this completion. This concerns the final building of the later stages of the antahkarana by the initiate.
3. The transmission of force from the reflected or secondary triangle in the three worlds of human endeavour (or in the five worlds in the case of the evolution of members of the Hierarchy) is into the same focal point on the base line of the higher triangle which received the original emanating energy.
4. There are consequently two points of major importance in the higher triangle:
5. The emanating point of positive conditioning energy.
6. The point which receives into itself both the higher energy and the lower forces. This point is called the soul aspect of the triangle and is always the registering agent of consciousness. It is, therefore, the producer of crises, because the point where several energies meet is the source of crisis in the outer life.
7. These crises are crises of initiation and this is true of men as individuals, of nations and of humanity as a whole.
8. The overshadowing triangle is the factor which produces by its flow into and out of the secondary triangle the “moments in time and the events in space which lead to those episodes in the life of the soul wherein force becomes energy and energy becomes life.”

Such a momentous event or crisis is now taking place in the life of humanity today.

More along this line I may not here dictate. The subject is too vast, abstruse and complicated. I have, however, indicated enough to throw some light upon this intricate science. Summarizing what I have said:

1. Emanating, evocative and magnetic energies are the three types of energy, flowing from the “superior triangle.”
2. Receptive, distributing and critical force are the three types of energy distributed by the “inferior or reflected triangle.”
3. Two points of energy are shared by both triangles along the base line. When the work is completed, the base line is formed by two blended streams of energy, which embody the energies of both triangles.
4. One point of energy (the magnetic point) produces involution and outgoing during the process of forming the lower triangle. In a later stage it—as a blend of energies—induces return of all the energies to the emanating source.

At the same time, students must bear in mind that—owing to the Great Illusion—it may appear to them that the triangles are incomplete during the evolutionary process. The fact, however, is that in the Eternal Now all three sides of the triangles eternally exist and persist. The problem is found only in the consciousness of the subject but not in the Reality.

5. It must be noted by the student that:
6. The masses of men express down-pouring energy from the magnetic centre. Their rightful trend is at present downward into physical manifestation and experience.
7. Aspirants and probationers express responsiveness to the pull of the evocative centre. Their urge is towards the path of return.
8. Accepted disciples and initiates express the interplay along the base line between the evocative and magnetic points.
9. Higher initiates and Masters utilise and express the energy blended in the magnetic centre. They are returning or responding to the emanating centre.

Cycles of Jupiter & Six-Fold Triangle

In respect to the transiting of natal Jupiter through the twelve zodiacal constellations or signs which there has been given three major planetary rulers, exoteric, esoteric, and hierarchical, which transmit the influences of zodiacal constellations. These three planetary rulers have affinity with the three-fold nature of the constellation’s beingness influences which its planetary rulers transmit or radiates. As Jupiter cycles through each sign it potentially isolates and potentially fuses these influences coming through the sign’s planetary rulers. In respect to a natal chart’s astrological influences the aspirant might or might not be influenced by Jupiter’s transiting focuses depending upon the subjects own three-fold and nine-fold periodic vehicle sheath beingness sensitivities and focus of identity. As Jupiter moves through the natal decanates Jupiter potentially blends the influences of the decanate’s ruler and also the sign’s planetary rulers expanding the sign’s beingness’s influences associated or linked to these rulers by affinity according to the human unit’s response to the progressing influences.

As an example, Jupiter transiting through Aries the constellational energy influences may appear to be released or impulsed through its hierarchical ruler of Uranus acting as the emanating point of the triangle if the subject’s related sheath is sensitized to this aspect. It then would be received, through its esoteric ruler of Mercury (relating life and consciousness), in the evoking center or the soul aspect which embodies and qualifies it.  This qualified evocative force would then be transmitted to the negative polarized receptive centre, through Mars, or form aspect further qualifying it and magnetizing it under the law of attraction. Thus, whatever influences available to the solar Logos from Aries are qualified by Uranus, Mercury, and Mars and potentially responded to during Jupiter’s transits. Any of these energies become more available to be potentially reacted to by the subject and absorbed. The signs given first and seventh Ray qualified energy and forces which is expressing through Aries has sub-aspects or rays of the seventh, fourth, and sixth qualities radiated or qualifying the original impulsed influence associate to some aspect of purpose.

It is significant to remember here that the rays are the builders of vehicles where each are expressing some progressing major three-fold and seven-fold set of principles and sub-principles; and that planets can likewise be considered as expressing the evolving principles of the solar Logos.  The constellation influences can be understood as the major catalyst for unfolding of particular principles. Once this importance is grasped esoteric astrology will be greatly simplified. All zodiacal or principle unfolding influences come through the Sun, limited by its present form sensitivity, and transmitted and/or absorbed by various planetary schemes through affinity and are received in the Earth by way of the three major centres of Shamballa, Hierarchy and Humanity and reach the disciple through one of these three major centres and later one or more of the five planetary centres related to Humanity or the five-sub-races of the fifth root race in general.

The second Ray fusing power of Jupiter, as it transits, becomes the catalyst for this process in a significant sense, due to the fact that the Jupiter Scheme is the physical personification aspect so-to-speak of the Grand Man of the Heavens which expresses through Jupiter. Jupiter represents the WORD of the Logos and all impulses and influences are registered by Jupiter in respect to His third or Personability aspect (given as conditioned by the second Ray) which also is involved in transmitting His second and first major and minor aspects which can likewise reacted to if one is evolved enough in their consciousness and sensitivity.

The Grand Heavenly Man’s various major and minor aspect influences are transmitted through His brain represented by Saturn. Saturn basically qualifies all form creation and expression potential and thus is why each receives according to their own “word” or according to their will-desire intents exemplified by their present form pattern qualities which are invocative by default (law of vibration).  Transiting Saturn transmits the Jupiter enticed fruits of each of us as well as the Grand Heavenly Man.

The decanate rulers further qualify the effects of the constellation influences, qualified by its three planetary rulers, particularly on one of the periodic vehicles and/or one of the respectful sheaths as it transits through the signs.  Furthermore, Jupiter can be understood as a lower correlation to Agni, the personification of the cosmic Logos, or Cosmic Man of the Heavens, expressing creative intent through Aries.

The influence of hierarchical, esoteric and exoteric Saturn is inferred to qualify and quantify likewise the blending and fusing influences of transiting Jupiter and will be discussed when the cycle of maturation is again discussed in the next section as Saturn rules the form or third aspect maturational stages (systemic thoughtform reifies). Please keep in mind that the decanates represent potential vehicle and sheath unfoldment and expression opportunities on one level or another within the five lower planes.

In respect to Jupiter returns, the same above basic process applies except for two important points.  First, the rulers of the decanates will be based upon the point in evolution of the subject and the direction on the wheel they are moving and as such changes the particular vehicles and sheath influences opportunities.  Secondly, that the influences within one’s natal chart further qualifies the above influences as transiting Jupiter makes angle aspects to natal Jupiter. Thus, Jupiter transits to a new constellation peak supporting or reinforcing influence basically once a year or every thirty degrees and transit to a more opportunistic or transformational influence every forty-five degrees with its natal Jupiter.  The supporting or transformational opportunity is qualified by the influences related and expanded as given in the natal chart. If the personality can respond to the emanating force related through Jupiter’s second Ray radiatory influences without identification signifying  the unit is on the reverse wheel then the soul more likely respond to the respectful constellation influences and the blending or circulation process can begin which leads to a constellation energy related crisis in one vehicle or another. In respect to the process of absorbing a new qualified energy  causing a crisis it has been observed that it takes the transiting in and blending of chart influences by Jupiter in all twelve constellations or six polarities (six-pointed star) to resolve a sub-cycle of evolutionary related crisis.  All crisis was shown to be resolved through larger group assimilation.

Jupiter’s blending influences builds on original impulses received while transiting through the twelve signs but particularly on those from Aries.  This might be an important observation especially if one hypothesizes that each new soul life begins in Aries. In other words, a soul life is defined as one or more planned incarnations to carry out some purpose.  If one is born with Jupiter in Aries, it might suggest it is beginning a new series of four form creations or soul purpose. In all other cases the subject is in process of completing an earlier series of soul purposes.

The following is a generic first look at the stages of integration related to an evoked crisis. There are many ways to describe the qualifying relationships to these seven stages of integration depending on the levels and sub-levels of beingness’s being evaluated and their point of distribution. Each cycle of integration is related to the science of triangles and the emanating energy is given as circulated also through a secondary triangle. These primary and secondary triangles can be composed of either the three-fold sheaths of the periodic vehicles or through the three periodic vehicles or a combination thereof. What begins in the monadic centre is reflected into its polar opposite and later re-assimilated or Life begetting life.

The six sided or six-pointed star can also be understood as representing six polarized points of alignment responsible for flows between two points upon a line as well as between the three major period vehicles representing Life, Quality and Appearance. The movement is both along the triangle lines but also between their three-fold vertical points. The dual points are responsible for the unfolding of ray related qualified consciousness linking the three major aspects on all levels of beingness.  There is always the dual nature of existence or beingness where the subjective life aspect is playing on the objective life aspect and its reversed influence of the objective playing on the subjective.

• Personality Aspect: Magnetic force point and the Receptive Force Point

The six dual lines of relationship are resolved into three dual lines of relationships and three polarized points which are resolved into the lower one point during involution. The remaining three dual lines of relationships are resolved back into the three polarized points which are resolved back into the one emanating point during evolution.

Another summarization can be made using only the six points of the dual triangles – subjective and objective.

From the initiates qualitative point of view in developing and expressing of the Christ consciousness, the six polarized dual points, or (dual) six, are resolved first into the (dual) four and later into the (dual) two and finally into the (dual) one and thus the crisis resolved upon the three-fold crosses [or the dual six – subjective (vertical) and objective (horizontals)]. Thus, it takes all twelve constellation influences to resolve a crisis of any sort it appears and particularly the birthing of the Individual Christ consciousness. The first three constellation’s polarized influences are resolved in the second three constellation’s polarized influences. Furthermore, many other correlations and associations can be made between the egoic lotus and groups of eight egoic lotus’s on the mental plane in respect to the role of the twelve zodiacal constellations as the central creation and unfoldment in the building of the vehicle of expression for the cosmic, planetary or the individual Christ aspect.

Interestingly, every successful program of integration leading to newness would reasonably involve these twelve qualifying influences in one way or another such as the successful use of the twelve steps used by Alcohol Anomalous or AA. Furthermore, in Behaviorism as in Psychosynthesis there is identified six stages of change conditioned by the six polarized zodiacal influences.

 Four Seasonal Stages, Dharmic Wheels and Some House Meanings

Every sign has a potential of nine tests, three per each of the decanates representing the three-fold aspects of the three major aspects. Per the perspective of the three major periodic vehicles the first decanate tests are related to the physical, astral, and mental sheaths, planes or form aspects; the second decanate to the concrete mind, Son of Mind, and higher mind sheaths, planes or consciousness aspects; and the third decanate relates to the manasic mind, intuitive mind, and atmic mind sheaths, or planes or spirit or will aspects.  The twelve tests in context tot eh three decanates is suggestive of thirty-six minimum tests and 108 maximum tests as suggested by the nine symbolic tests of Scorpio where these were related to the lower three-fold form aspects – physical, astral, and mental. These 108 steps have to be spiritualized to enter Nirvana as his is why Buddhists probably have 108 beads on their rosaries and 108 steps to enter the temple. This also represents the overcoming of the 108 feelings determined by multiplying the five senses plus their combined effect on consciousness whether experienced as painful, neutral, or pleasant in experience. These are further multiplied by whether they were internally or externally generated and further multiplied by past, present, and future happenings – 6x3x2x3 = 108. Given this is only the second solar system and we are only just over halfway through it all these potential tests would not be fully developed or apply at this juncture in the group initiation process under the law of freedom.  This is probably why the third decanate is considered the combination of the third and second aspects and not the first in general at this stage in humanity’s evolution. The tests can be better appreciated if the focus is on just the second major periodic vehicle aspect or its nine related tests linked to the freedom of the soul from form identification. It appears the decanate rulers’ influences are aligned with this goal and information as provided only with the lower initiations at this juncture in Humanity’s soul -personality point of integration and its availability for use by the monad or the One Life.

In respect to the four major wheel directional aspects and the movement of the human unit through the twelve signs and thirty-six decanates we can attempt to isolate three levels of sheath or plane life sensitivity development whose blended corrected use is tested in the renunciation stage. Thus, the three major aspect related sheath expression is first unfolded and then utilized towards the purpose and plan objectives.  Their progressive expression opportunities might be captured by the twelve houses if the appropriate plane or form related vehicle substance characteristics can be identified which is the intent of this section.

Some possible house related form characteristics are organized below according to the overall four seasonal evolutionary related stages and the four wheel directions. There are only three sets of house related meanings inferred and proffered related to whether the human unit is responding to the mutable cross influences of the mutable-fixed cross influences or all three crosses influences.
